Nirvana Labs Welcomes Sonny Singh to Its Board
A seasoned investor and operator supporting Nirvana’s go-to-market strategy and long-term vision.
Today, we are excited to welcome Sonny Singh to the Nirvana Labs board.
Sonny brings a rare and relevant combination of experience across web3, fintech, and data centers. He is the Co-Founder and CEO of Beluga, a crypto education and investment platform dedicated to onboarding the next billion users.
With the addition of Sonny on the board, Nirvana deepens its expertise in tackling one of web3’s largest problems: the expensive, unreliable, and inconsistent performance of traditional clouds on web3 native workloads.
Previously, Sonny served as Chief Commercial Officer of BitPay, one of the largest crypto payments companies, where he helped raise over $70 million from prominent investors including Founders Fund and Index Ventures. Earlier in his career, he was part of the founding team at Jumio which is the leader in identity verification and raised over $25M from Andreessen Horowitz.
Sonny is also an active angel investor and advisor, supporting companies across crypto, fintech, and infrastructure, including Core Scientific, SoFi, Aptos, and others.

Sonny joins the board alongside Meltem Demirors of Crucible Capital and Joe Bruzzesi, General Partner at Raptor Digital, further strengthening Nirvana’s leadership as it builds the performance cloud for Web3.
As a board member, Sonny brings deep experience across go-to-market strategy, ecosystem development, and company building, helping guide Nirvana’s long-term platform growth and partnerships across the Web3 landscape.
